Mount Cook Morning Mist
Everyone was still asleep when this picture was taken. Fox Glacier had become a ghost town after the bridge connecting it to Franz Josef collapsed in 2019. On my way back from a walk on Lake Matheson, I was lucky enough to witness the kiss of the first rays of sunshine on Mount Cook.
